BandFunk Now Available For Windows Phone

BandFunk has been available for iPhone for a few months and has been pretty popular. Today, LuckyBird is excited to announce that BandFunk is now available for Windows Phone!

BandFunk lets you “follow” musical artists that you’re interested in. The app lets you know when they post new shows nearby you via notifications and the app’s live tile. The app also suggests other artists you might be interested in so it’s a great way to discover your next favorite band. You can share concerts with your friends via Twitter, Facebook, text message or e-mail; you can also add the to your calendar directly from the app.

BandFunk for iPhone Updated To Version 1.1

BandFunk – The Artist and Concert Tracking App for iPhone has just been updated to version 1.1. This release adds a ton of under-the-hood performance improvements and bug fixes, and sorts artists on the home screen to make finding artists you follow much faster.

BandFunk is a fairly popular app that helps you keep track of your favorite artists, bands, and DJs. You can follow artists you like, and BandFunk will let you know when they’re playing near you. It also suggests related artists that you might be interested in and tells you the latest news about your favorite artists.

MobileCTA Downloaded 2500 Times in First Month; Ad-Free Version Now Available

MobileCTA – The Chicago CTA App for iPhone & iPad is one LuckyBird’s newest and fastest growing apps. After being available for a little over a month, the app has been downloaded over 2500 times  and has over 1600 active users. The app is free and supported by ads.

Mobile AC Transit Now Available for Windows Phone

Mobile AC Transit is one of the most popular apps for the AC Transit (East San Francisco Bay) on iPhone and iPad – even though it is a paid app, several hundred people use it every day to get around the San Francisco Bay Area. LuckyBird’s Apps Reach 33,000 Downloads With 14,300 Active Users

One week ago I was proud to report the LuckyBird reached 30,000 downloads and 13,000 active users. This week, I’m ecstatic to report that we’ve have over 3,000 new downloads and 1,300 new active users. It means we’ve been growing over 10% per week, and things show no sign of stopping!

For those still counting, we’re up to 33 apps on the market (up from 27 last week). With 2 more waiting for review and several more in the works, expect this number to be event higher next week!

MobileMBTA, MobileTTC, MobileMetro LA Now Available for Windows Phone

This week we’ve brought several of our popular iPhone & iPad apps to Windows Phone.  MobileMetro LA – The LA Metro App for Windows PhoneMobileTTC – The Toronto TTC App for Windows Phone, and MobileMBTA – The Boston MBTA App for Windows Phone are all live on the Windows Phone Marketplace as of this morning. Mobile AC Transit (for the East SF Bay’s AC Transit system) is waiting for review and should be available in the next few days.
